Gallery Runner is an ongoing project by myself, artist Julian Sharples . Various artworks resulting from it will be shown in the artcpgalleria project space on Portobello Road.

The project is a gallery run based on a circuit around London taking in canals and parks. The galleries visited are those that exhibit in the London art fairs.

In addition to the running aspect, I have created unlikely connections between approximately 1100 artists who exhibit with these 35 galleries. The runs and research are used in making various artworks of my own.

Further inspiration comes from artists who like walking, such as Hamish Fulton and Richard Long, and artists who like photographing other artist’s work, such as Louise Lawler, as well as the many contemporary artists I have researched during this project.
